How to View Housing Application Status

You can view your status anytime on the Housing Portal under Apps and Forms.

Status Definitions

In Progress – You started the application but haven’t completed it.
Under Review – You submitted the application, and it’s being reviewed by Housing staff.
Waitlist – Great News! You are on track to securing on campus housing. Invitations are sent weekly according to the waitlist process. This status can mean one of two things:
1. You are waiting for a housing invitation.
2. You have been sent an invitation via email, and your contract is ready to sign.
  (Note: Current residents who miss the renewal deadline are moved to the waitlist.)
Approved – You have signed a contract. Watch for next steps to select a room.
Resident – Congrats! You have selected a room.
Cancelled – Your contract was terminated by you or the university. Failure to sign a contract before the deadline results in a cancellation. Please reapply if you still plan on living in the Hale.
